Important: Announcement of releases for stable Testnet versions and planned testnet outage due to hard fork

There are two key events happening on Monday:

  1. Stable Testnet Version Releases:
  • On Monday, Aug 19th at 7 pm CET, Sway, Rust SDK, and TS SDK will be released.
  • For details on any breaking changes, please refer here. But there are still a few of outstanding PRs that will be included in the migration guide on Sunday morning (18 August) 6 pm CET.

Note: These are the final testnet’s stable version releases. These are the same versions that you should use to continue with the mainnet.

  1. Hard Fork and Planned Outage for Testnet:
  • A planned outage will occur on Monday, August 19th, from 1 PM to 3 PM CET to perform a reorganization of the blockchain. This will affect all blocks created since August 13th to address issues from a corrupted forkless upgrade.
  • All user transactions will be preserved; however, the block IDs for blocks created between August 13th and August 19th will be different.
