I lost 0.5 ETH due to a silly interface on Fuel wallet

I copied ETH contract instead of Wallet address on Fuel wallet

Why is it necessary to display a contract for a large asset like ETH, I think Fuel wallet can handle the fact that Ethereum will have ETH as the only ticker displayed on the wallet.

Why is there a copy paste contract button there, it is very misleading. Other wallets like Metamask, OKX have removed it because it is not necessary.

Can I get back 0.5 ETH for depositing into the ETH contract on Fuel?

Can I get any reasonable compensation?

This is an important feedback and you need to change the interface of the copy paste contract button immediately

I am sorry to hear about your loss. In fuel wallet, the address displayed below the Account 1 is your fuel wallet address. On fuel, every asset could be used as a native asset, thus it is necessary to show the contract address of each asset.
