What's the difference between `beta-1` testnet and `beta-2` testnet?

Why are there two beta testnets? What are the differences and which one should we use?

The beta-1 testnet is the first public Fuel testnet, shared by all developers and users that interact with it.

The beta-2 testnet features a bridge to Ethereum’s goerli testnet.

You can find more information here about the Beta-2 testnet here: Beta-2 Testnet - The Fuel Book .

You can also see an example of a Fuel contract for managing and issuing bridged versions of ERC-20 tokens here:

This design doc explains in more detail how the bridge example works: bridge-fungible-token/design_docs.md at master · FuelLabs/bridge-fungible-token · GitHub
